The Nike Team Nationals Preseason Rankings have been released, and Washington has 4 boys teams and 3 girls teams ranked in the top 10 for the Northwest Region.
The top two ranked teams in each region plus four at large teams will be invited to the national finals.
On the boys\' side, Mead and Ferris maintain last year\'s top 10 ranking, while Seattle Prep and Lake Stevens join the mix. On the girls\' side, Gig Harbor, Mount Spokane and Jefferson all maintain spots in the top 10 from last year.

6. Lake Stevens XC Club (Lake Stevens HS) Dyestat comment: Young team led by Joey Bywater, 21st at state and improved to 9:03 3200 in soph track season. Last year\'s ranking: unranked.
Girls
1. Gig XC Club (Gig Harbor HS) - Dyestat comment: State 4A champ, NW #1 '05 and NTN 7th has 5 of 7 back after excellent track season. Last year\'s ranking: 2
