BORDERCHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIPS SPONSORS IN-SEASON SUPER MEET: 71st COMBOY JAMBOREE
POST-SEASON ARIZONA-NEW MEXICO BORDERWAR JOINS FORCES WITH THE BORDERCHALLENGE NATIONAL XC CHAMPIONSHIPS.
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, March 23, 2007 –BorderChallenge Championships announces that it will be the presenting sponsor of the 71st Oklahoma Cowboy Jamboree.
The Cowboy Jamboree is well known as the “Oldest Consecutive Cross Country race in the United States”. Held on the Oklahoma State Cross Country course the Jamboree annually draws over 15,000 in attendance, nearly 6,000 competing individuals and over 500 competing teams. Look for 2007 to produce the largest invitational in the nation!

BorderChallenge Championships also announces that the highly successful and prestigious Arizona-New Mexico BorderWar cross country championship race will be the host for the 2007 Desert Highland XC Championships.
The BCC Arizona-New Mexico region will fit nicely into the existing BorderWar meet, this partnership will allow an already prestigious meet to continue to grow, provide tremendous opportunities for competing athletes, and continue an excellent event with a new national championship bonus. We are pleased and honored to be a part of the Arizona-New Mexico BorderWar.

The 2007 BorderChallenge Championships stands as the FIRST region-based National XC Individual and Team Championship for high school XC club teams. The BorderChallenge National Championship will be held December 1, 2007 at the National Training Center in Clermont, Florida just outside of Orlando, Florida. Orlando, Florida is home to a collection of world-class theme parks including Sea World Orlando, Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort; Orlando is a place where fantasy meets reality everyday and the home to the BorderChallenge National XC Championships.
