Throwback: Check Out All the Speed of McQuaid 2015! Can 2016 Be Faster?

Boys Seeded AA Race:

With no strings attached, Noah Affolder blasted from the gun, using the pace cart as the sole motivation. Coming through the first mile at 4:42, it was clear he was a man on a mission. Continuing to pound, he came through at 9:30 for the full two-mile, a 9:26 3200m equivalent. On record pace, Affolder pushed further a huge gap on the field. Coming down the finish stretch, it was a mad sprint towards the finish. With a slight look at the clock and the announcer counting down, Affolder pointed to the sky and crossed with exuberance. He crushed the course record by over 10 seconds, putting the question into everyone's mind. -NY MileSplit

Girls Seeded AAA Race:

This race was a close battle that went down to the finish. The difference between first and second place was less than a second as Shona Mcculloch went 16:35.70 and Abbey Wheeler went 16:36.10. Both girls blew away the rest of the field by roughly 20 seconds. Will McQuaid 2016 be as awesome as last year?
