Saxonburg Knoch (Pa.) High senior Jordan Geist won his third straight PIAA Championship in the shot put Friday, logging a mark of 71 feet, 4.5 inches at Seth Grove Stadium in Shippensburg.
It wasn't Geist's best throw of his season, but it would have stood as a US No. 3 mark -- Geist already owns the nation's second best throw at 74-10.25.
The University of Arizona signee will move on to the Class AAA discus on Saturday.
