Athing Mu wasn't the only one who had a big day, as 10-year-old Damira Allen from Chester Cheetas Track Club (PA) also had some big wins. Allen ran 2:27.93 to win the 800m and 4:55.42 to win the 1500m.

Allen is no stranger to running fast times. She holds the 7-year-old world age group record of 5:19.16 in the 1500m and the 9-year-old age group world record of 2:23.15(i) in the 800m. When AAU Junior Olympics rolls around she could be looking to chase after the 10-year-old world age group record time of 4:36.77 in the 1500m, currently held by Imogen Stewart or the 800m record of 2:16.39 held by Claudia Francis.
