Brandon Graef Sets Sites on Bellevue

Brandon has ran Track & Field since Jr. High School and hold the school records there as well for the Hurdles. Since his Freshman year he has better his time each year and has become more and more competitive. Last year (junior year) Brandon really started to shine placing 1st in every head to head meet in KingCo. Brandon hit his fastest time of 14.97 (fat) in the Sea-King district meet where he got second place and earned a birth to the State Championships in Pasco. This year Brandon has been nothing less then spectacular winning every event he has raced in except for once (fell in the 110 hurdles at Eastmont Invite).

Brandon, rankes 3rd in the state, is expected to again return to Pasco. To begin the season Brandon raced in the UW Indoor (#3) invite and won the Boys 60M Hurdles, betting several small colleges. His Goals are simple – Win.

Brandon expects to continue his education at either Idaho State University, Central Washington or Spokane Falls Community College where each have excellent Track programs. Most schools are looking for him to become a Decathlon.

Tidbit- Brandon started this season for the Skyline Football team as an outside Linebacker where his team went undefeated (14-0) and won the 4A State Football Championship. Brandon made Honorable Mention for his defense play in Kingco. Voted by the coaches as the Most Improved Defensive player.
