It was a special night for Wenatchee senior, Cole Christman. Not only did he defeat North Central's Tanner Anderson, but he finished in a nation leading time. Christman crossed the line in 4:09.94, the first to break 4:10 in the 1600m for the season. Anderson ran a current US#10 time of 4:14.23 while Britton Demars rounded out the top three in a quick 4:16.25.
Moving up in distance, we saw a state leading time set in the 3200m where Justin Jankeof North Central clocked in at 9:14.92.
State leading times were recorded in both 4x400m races. The Wenatchee boys ran 3:24.50 while the Central Valley girls ran 4:04.92.
