Dana Hills is back on the MileSplit50 after a strong showing at the McQuaid Invitational. They were preseason ranked ninth but after a few losses in the early season they fell out of the top 25. There is no denying now that they now deserve to be ranked. They've had two solid performances in a row the first at the Dana Hills Invite on September 22 where they finished with everyone in their top five running a speed rating of 170 or better. Then at McQuaid they beat MileSplit50 No. 5 ranked Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. With everyone in their top five running a speed rating of 175 or better and their top seven all ran better than 166 (this was after flying across the entire country). Clovis should be interesting.
6
They've had two big races winning the BYU Autumn Classic and the Nebo XC Invitational. At the Nebo Invitational, they had seed ratings of 180, 180, 177, 168, and 165. They won scoring 23 points and had a 39-second 1-5 split and 15:37 average.

At the Bowdoin Park Classic, they won the Boys 5K Varsity II race scoring 33 points. They looked very strong with speed ratings of 184, 182, 182, 174, 165, 165 and 155 for their top seven. They were still missing one of their top five guys in Troy Hill.
8
Looked strong at the Union County XC Championship on September 27th. They had a 25-second 1-5 split and a 16:39 average. They won scoring 17 points in what appeared to be a pack up and tempo run type of race.
9
They went up and took the win at the Stanford Invitational with a 33-second 1-5 split and a 15:41 average. They had some of the strongest speed ratings of the weekend running 179, 177, 175, 171, and 168 through five athletes.
10
They won their home Invitational scoring 24 points.
11
They were second at the Stanford Invitational behind Claremont High. The team ran speed ratings of 179, 177, 175, 171, and 168 through their top five. They had a 15:37 average and a 1:11 1-5 split.

13
They beat Mountain Vista High School at the Dave Sanders Invitational two weekends ago on September 21st. The score was 34 to 75. The team had a 45-second 1-5 split 16:11 average. They had speed ratings of 180, 180, 168, 168, and 165 for their top five. They have to have all five have big races to make an impact nationally because their six and seven runners were way back.
14
The team ran their JV guys at the Sunfair Invitational. Their varsity team won the Fort Steilacoom Invitational over Lewis And Clark High School and Camas High School.
15

17
They won the Palatine Invitational in Illinois. The team had speed ratings of 187, 174, 174, 171, and 164. The team scored 84 points and had a 15:12 average for 3-miles with a 1:10 1-5 split.
18
They earned the win over some of the best in the Heartland region at the Roy Griak Invitational. Max Manley took the individual win running 15:45.9. The team had alright speed ratings of 185, 174, 168, 162, and 162 for their top five, but the speed ratings weren't as impressive as some other teams across the country. Their two guys back at 162 hurt them a little bit. The team had a 1:08 1-5 split and a 16:29 average.
19
The guys from Flower Mound won the Nike South Invitational led by Jarrett Kirk and Alex Maier finishing first and third. The team had speed ratings of 189, 188, 169, 166, and 165 for their top five runners. They had a 1:14 1-5 split and a 15:32 team average.
20
They won the Katie Caples Invitational with their varsity squad (Minus Charles Hicks) on September 22nd. They scored 33 points and had a 51-second 1-5 split and 16:18 average. They had a speed ratings of 176, 171, 169, 163 and 159. Adding in Hicks will help them out a bit but they are going to have to put fourth a big full team effort soon to stay in the top 25.
21
Burnt Hills lack of depth showed this weekend at the McQuaid Invitational. The teams upfront talent once again ran very well led by Tyler Berg who ran a 190 speed rating and earned the individual win. Evan Brennan also looked strong but their 3-7 had a bit of a rough run in the loaded field which ultimately saw them place third in the race. It shows that teams no matter how good upfront need all five runners to perform when the time comes.
22
They finished third behind previously MileSplit50 No. 16 ranked Claremont High. They also lost to La Costa Canyon (CA) who ran very well. The team had speed ratings of 181, 176, 175, 161, and 159.

Newbury Park had a strong showing back at Woodbridge but also has run well at the Marmonte League Meet #2.
25
They won the Mountain West Classic with a 1:13 1-5 split and a 16:25 average time. They had speed ratings of 180, 170, 168, 164, and 156 for their top five.
