A fast-riser from Colorado won this past week's National Performer of the Week honor.

After claiming his fifth-straight win, and his first cross country 5K effort under 15 minutes, Green Mountain's Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos secured over 70-percent of the vote and just over 1,600 tallies.

The senior was recognized with the top honor by virtue of his 14:57.30 from the East Meet on Sept. 26. The effort currently sits as the No. 14 best performance in the U.S.

A big congrats goes out to Tuohy-Gaydos on the honor.

Now let's move on to Week 7 of the National Performer of the Week.

We'll have seven candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.
