King\'s Saga Continues William Woodward Nov 08, 2007

 

The King's Lady Nights team showed up with another impressive performance.  Taking first place in the 1A division.

 The Lady Knights successfully defended their 2006 State title,
and picked up their fifth State championship overall.  The girls have
now surpassed the boys for number of wins at State.  King's nine total
State cross country championships ties the school with Ferris for
fourth.  Mead (15), Edmonds-Woodway (12) and Omak (11) are the schools ahead on the list.

Through 44 District championship races we've identified all 143
Washington State cross country championship qualifiers.  From the
North Central boys -- one of the top teams in the nation -- to Class B
girls' teams that don't have a full seven harriers on their rosters,
November 3 will bring together in Pasco any number of interesting
