Wheels & Heels Partner Duathlon
Location: Tri-Cities International Cross Country Course, Rd.36 .5 miles north of Argent Rd. Pasco, Way.
When: Feb 25,2006 9 A.M.
Registration: Race day registration only starting at 8:00am near the finish line.
Entry Fee: $10 per team
What: Run/Bike Relay, 2 person teams, 10k total, approx 5k run/5k bike. Both team members start at the same time, one running, the other on the bike. Each member completes 4 laps 2 running 2 on the bike. At the end of the first lap the biker leaves the bike in the transition area and starts running. When the runner gets there he gets on the bike and, hopefully, passes the runner. That continues until each member completes 4 laps.
Course: Outside loop of Big X course. 4 laps, + .5 loop on last lap. Bike handoff area starting line. Lap 1-3 1.38 mi, Lap 4 2mi
Awards: Ribbons to top 3 in each division/age group:
Divisions: Male, Female, Co-ed
Age groups: Total age of team members . Under 40, 40-59, 60-79, 80-99, 100-119, 120 & up.
Pies to top 3 overall in each division overall. Pies to finishers on the 6s. Ex: 6,16.26 etc
