Apple Ridge Run Challenge

The Apple Ridge Run Challenge is a very unique cross country meet. It consists of 3 courses, held in the middle of a beautiful, privately-owned apple orchard in Cowiche, WA, just outside of Yakima. Apple Ridge is a meet of three races, one for each course. In all of the races, JV and varsity, boys and girls, run together. Though the weather was disagreeable, the times on all three 3 mile courses were very agreeable.
Seventeen schools attended this invite, including Ellensburg, East Valley, Wapato, Zillah and Highland, who hosted the meet. Kevin Aubol ran the third race, finishing in 15:20, the fastest time overall for boys through all three races. Joshua Aubol, Kevin’s twin, finished first in the first race with a time of 16:19. Jose Marcial, second overall, won the second race with 16:02. Team scores and some individual times are currently unavailable for this meet.

All times are according to www.athletic.net. Full results should be posted there by Monday night on the 22nd of September.
