Farrar takes fourth at state Bainbridge Island Review Nov 05, 2007

This time around, Emily Farrar said she enjoyed the drive back.

“There were no tears,” she said. “It was a very, very good ride home.”

The senior co-captain rounded out a solid career as a Spartan harrier with a fourth place finish at the 3A state cross country meet at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco Saturday.

Farrar posted a time of 19:28 – one second behind West Valley’s Lisa Oleander and ten seconds behind Holy Names’ Chelsea Burns.

It’s the highest finish by a Bainbridge girls’ cross country runner since Rachel Belt took third in 2003.
