Madie Boreman, a sophomore distance runner at Leander Rouse High School in Texas, also pulls double time as a soccer star at her school. Boreman won the Texas 4A state title at 1600 meters last spring as a freshmen and earned an invitation to the 2013 adidas Dream Mile which she placed 7th in the elite race in New York City with a PR of 4:46. Being multi-talented as well as quick on her feet both on the track and on the soccer field helped Boreman to be selected and featured in the adidas my boost dual sport athlete video series earlier this spring.

The Virginia state record holder in the 100 (10.31) and 200 (20.64) meter dash, Mustaqeem Williams of Forest Park High School (Woodbridge, VA), is also a two sport star in football which his year around involvement in sports has kept him on the straight and successful path. That route guided by athletics has given him a great opportunity at the next level as he plans to run collegiately for Florida State University starting next year and be the first male in his family to attend and receive education at a four year college.
