Gig Harbor Girls and Ferris Boys continue their March to the Sea. Taking third place, Kesslee Payne again leads the Gig Harbor girls to a 2nd place spot at the elite meeting of the nations best at the Nike Team Nationals this weekend in Portland. Oregon. Kenyans sweep first four spots to win the OPEN womans event.with 25 points; Gig WA girls are first American team in the same OPEN event.
. Ferris locks in a 3rd with an outstanding show in the Championship group, again pushing ahead of their ever rival Mead.
