With perfect running weather, Seattle Prep started the Bellevue Invite with a Bang. In the JV race Nathan Peoples, a Seattle Prep Sophomore jumped out to a huge 100 meter lead which he would hold all the way to a 1646 finish. Following in his footsteps Prep took around 4 of the top 10 JV places. Winning the JV title is almost as important as winning the meet because it helps our team grow stronger in depth and overall speed. In the races the followed prep either won or placed both its two runners in the top 5 except for the 1&2 race where we recieved fourth and 10th?. Our team this year has its strength as a entire train of locomotives rather than just one locomotive pulling all the frieght cars. In a sense this race just further proved how tight of a team we are, by finishing its top 5 in a 30 second spread. Noting it was a flighted race which doesnt allow for pack running.
Health Report: After the race most of our varsity and jv felt that they had a solid race except for a three who had cramps or other minor issues.
