11. Texas Marks That Lasted The Entirety Of Indoor

- - -

Since 2010, the Texas A&M High School High School Classic has become a staple on the indoor calendar in Texas. It's the first time many track athletes in the Lone Star Star -- and beyond -- hit the track since the previous outdoor season. Each year we see some very fast times.

And this January was no different. This year, in particular, the girls 200m and 2-mile were where two of the top Texas athletes made their presence known on the national leaderboard.

Denton Guyer High School's (TX) Brynn Brown and Fort Bend Bush High School's (TX) Laila Owens both scored all-time top 25 efforts.

Brown ran 10:08.11 in the 2-mile, which was the only race of her indoor season. Owens clocked a 23.55 in the 200m, which was her only 200m race of the indoor season.
