Peninsula Boys win at Bellevue

In relatively close team competition, Peninsula scored 72 points boys get the 19 point victory over Bellarmine Prep at Bellevue high on Saturday. The Seahawks got big points in the long jump going 1-2 with Darrien Creamer jumping 20-7 and Luke Plummer jumping 20-4. Creamer also picked up the victory in the discus throwing 156-3.

Other Highlights:

Bellarmine’s Quinn Hale threw 197-1 in the javeline outdistancing second place Bellevue’s Tanner Lien by nearly 28 feet (169-5.)

Montez McGee from West Seattle won the 300 meter hurdles in 38.27 over Eastlake’s Jeff Stoat in 39.78.

Shane Moskowitz from Central Kitsap cruised to a 14 second victory in the 3200 running 9:08.68. Peninsula’s Chris Borg was second in 9:22.87.

Seattle Prep’s Drew Drew O'Donoghue-McDonald got the victory in the 1600 with a 4:16.94 over Bellarmine’s Brent Felnagle (4:19.87.)

Bellevue’s Michael Williams won the 800 with a 1:55.5
