NC's Katie Knight won the 2 mile in 10:31.25 at the Portland Track Festival. Knight's 2 mile time converts to a 10:27.69 3200, best ever for a Washington freshmen. The previous record holder Amy-Eloise Neale from Glacier Peak finished second in 10:44.99 (old record 10:31.01 at State.)
In the boys mile Elias Gedyon from Loyola, CA won by a step in 4:08.24 over Wade Meddles from Sierra Lutheran (4:08.76) and NC's Ben Johnston 4:08.98. Drew O'Donoghue-McDonald finished sixth in 4:12.03, which would convert to 1600 PR for Drew.
Andrew Wordell from NC won the 800 in 1:56.82 and teammate Robert Mosley was fourth in 2:00.43
