EATONVILLE -- Another spring, another district track title for the Foster High boys.

Danny Sullivan won both hurdles races and ran the first leg on the victorious 400-meter relay team, helping the Bulldogs pile up 130 points in the Class 2A West Central District meet on Friday at Eatonville High.

The title was Foster\'s third in the past four years.

Sullivan logged times of 15.5 in the 110-meter high hurdles and a 39.1 in the 300 lows. Foster took the 400 relay in 44.1 seconds. The Bulldogs won that event at state last year.

Trent Bell ran a personal-best 51.3 to win the 400 meters. Abdi Giire qualified for state in the 3,200, finishing second on Friday in 10:09, and Adnan Mujic made it to state in the 100 meters with an 11.57 that beat the qualifying time standard.

Foster finished 17 points ahead of second-place Eatonville (113).

Lenaya Daniels won the shot put with a mark of 34 feet, 6 inches, to help Foster\'s girls take fourth place with 87 points. That was a jump of two spots from last year for the Bulldogs. Steilacoom won with 135 points.

Foster freshman Amanda Mendoza was second in the javelin at 98-10 to qualify for state, and Valencia Doty\'s 13.06 in the 100 meters beat the qualifying time standard and gave her third place. The 400 relay was second in a photo finish to Steilacoom, but that was high enough to qualify for state. The 800 relay team also placed second to make state.
