Region 13 Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships
Date: Thursday, July 12, 2007 - Sunday, July 15, 2007
Site: Southwest Community Center / Sealth HS, 2801 SW Thistle St, Seattle, WA 98126. Directions: I-5 to W Seattle Bridge/Columbian Way exit. From I-5 S take exit 163A, keep right at fork on ramp. (From I-5 N take exit 163, keep left at fork on ramp.) Merge onto W Seattle Bridge. Go 2.76 miles. Turn left onto 35th Ave SW. Go 2.52 miles. Turn left onto SW Thistle Str. Go 0.37 miles.
The Hammer Throw will be held at West Seattle Stadium.

Entry: Entry forms and fees must be submitted to the registrar BEFORE you leave or by the conclusion of your association championships. Entries into regionals will only be accepted from your association registrar.

* Athletes born in 1988 after July 29 are eligible to compete in the Young Men/Women divisions.
Proof of Age: A copy of the athlete\'s Proof of Age (birth certificate, baptismal record, passport, or DSHS coupon) must be mailed to: Membership Chair, 4264 Van Horn Lane, Bellingham, WA 98126.
Sanction: This is a USATF-sanctioned Junior Olympic event.
Athletes: A competitor must compete in his/her age division. There will be no moving up or down in age divisions in any events, including relays. Competitors in the Bantam and Midget age divisions may compete in three events only, including relays. The youth, intermediate and young divisions may compete in four events only, including relays. Combined events are not included in these events. All athletes must have a current 2007 USATF membership number w/copy of proof of age on file.
Individual Cost: Cost per event: $6.00. Relays: $24.00.
Combined Events: Tri $10.00; Pentathlon: $15.00; Decathalon & Heptathlon: $20.00.
Packets: Club packets will be available at the top of the grandstand throughout each day.
Weigh-in: Implements will be provided by meet management.
Relay Teams: 2007 registered clubs may enter a relay team(s). Each relay declaration form must have an athletes roster for that age group. Clubs may list 4 athletes plus 2 alternates for the cost of a relay. At each level of competition these athletes may be changed as long as he/she is on the original roster. Relay Entry Form
Awards:Awards will be presented within 90 minutes of the conclusion of each event unless otherewise specified.
Advancements: Top 3 places in individual and relay events may advance to the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at San Antonio College (Mt SAC). (For Combined Events, top 2 places automatically qualify for JO Nationals; 3rd place finisher may attain a qualifying point standard to advance.)
Please register for Nationals BEFORE leaving the regional meet. $8.00 per event for Nationals. Please be prepared with cash for National entries. No Checks.
