Thanks for signing up for the Olympia XC Invite. Truly we are hosting this meet as a replacement for teams that were planning on the Capital Invite this year, which hopefully will be returning in 2023. Here is what you can expect from this meet:
1) Not a lot of bells and/or whistles, but the focus will be on providing an athlete-centric experience so that athletes of the same grade level will be competing against each other on a 2-mile (hopefully exactly 2-mile, but it might end up being a 2-ish mile course if that makes significantly more practical sense based on start/finish line) undulating course through grass, bark, woods, gravel, and several asphalt crossings -- it will not be a fast course, but it is true cross-country.
2) Custom sunglasses for top 10 finishers in each race and maybe medals for top 3, and probably a plaque for the top female and male times on the day
3) $50 team entry fee (I am working with our ASB to get this set up as soon as possible, and I will send out a link and/or info when it is available)
