University of Washington Indoor Preview 2011

Freshmen English Gardner and Phyllis Francis set school records in their first meet as Ducks and seniors Brianne Theisen and Melissa Gergel continued their all-around excellence Saturday at the season-opening UW Indoor Preview.

The Husky track team opened up the doors of the Dempsey for the UW Indoor Preview today, and by noon fans had already witnessed two new facility records, a sign of a thrilling season to come.

Lisa Koll cruised to a new Dempsey Center record, while a number of prep runners challenged the collegians.  Ian Burgess of Franklin, Sean Keane of BC, Andrew Wordell of North Central stood out among the high school stars.  Crater runners came in force  and were led by Jessica Vig & Max Runia.
