O\'Callahan, a freshman, came from behind to win a 3.1-mile race at Kelsey Creek Park in 20 minutes, 31 seconds. She made her move in the final mile, passing four Bellevue runners who finished second through fifth.

Kenna Patrick, Jefferson (Federal Way) girls cross country: Patrick shattered her course record as the Raiders beat Tahoma to extend their streak of league dual-meet victories to 47. Tahoma\'s streak was snapped at 91. Patrick finished 3.1 miles in 18 minutes, 44.7 seconds.
Max O\'Donoghue-McDonald, Seattle Prep boys cross country: The defending Class 3A state champion was the top overall boys finisher at the Nike/Jim Danner Invitational, finishing 3.1 miles in 15:08.15.

Yonas Berhe, Roosevelt boys cross country
Berhe, a senior, won the 23rd annual Hole in the Wall Invitational at Lakewood High School, taking 16 minutes, 22 seconds to complete the 3.1-mile course. His performance, and the second-place effort of his freshman brother, Abraham, helped the Roughriders earn the team title with 57 points, well ahead of second-place Bothell (90).

Patrick, a senior, broke her course record and led the third-ranked Raiders to a 13-point victory over No. 4 Tahoma in a showdown between South Puget Sound League powers. She covered the 3.1-mile course in 18:44.7, cutting nearly eight seconds off her previous best. Jefferson has won 47 consecutive league meets, and ended Tahoma\'s win streak at 91.

Davis, a junior, set a course record at Stanwood High School in a four-school WesCo meet on Thursday. She won the 3-mile race with a time of 18 minutes, 42 seconds, besting the previous record by two seconds.

Max O\'Donoghue-McDonald continued a strong cross-country season by winning Saturday\'s Nike/Jim Danner Invitational in Gresham, Ore. The Seattle Prep senior held off Kentwood\'s Michael Chinchar at the finish to win the race featuring many of the Northwest\'s best runners.
