The Lake Washington boys and girls track and field teams were seriously locked in on Friday night in Kirkland, as the Kangaroos jumped their way to victories over visiting Eastlake High School in an early season dual meet.

The score lines were enough proof: The boys were dominant with a 104-40 win, while the girls squeaked by with an eight-point win, scoring 79 total points.

    The 'Roos were everywhere.

The Lake Washington girls earned the top four places in the high jump, top five in the long jump and took all the points in the triple jump. That momentum continued on to the track, with Lake Washington's girls taking second and third in the 100m hurdles and sweeping the 300m hurdles.

The Kangaroos' boys were feeling it, too. On the track, the squad swept the 110m hurdles and took first and third in the 300m hurdles.

Off the track, Lake Washington swept the triple jump, scored all the points in the high jump, and, if not for one lone Eastlake Wolf long jumper, they would've pulled off a jumping sweep of their own.

Not to be outdone, Lake Washington's thrower boys put on a sweep show as well. The squad took the top three spots in the shot put and javelin, and the top six spots in the discus.

For both teams, there were plenty of standout individual performances:
