State Record Breakers
At the Home of the National Records, Simon Rosselli and Quenton Lanese put their best foot forward to push themselves where no Washingtonian has gone before. On Friday, Lanese started breaking records when he unleashed an epic kick to run 8:58.76 and break the Washington freshman record previously set by Vincent Recupero in 2022 at 9:01. The next day, Rosselli launched the discus 225-6 feet to break his own state record and move up to U.S. #5 all-time on the high school list.
