2. Elli Kimes, Cashmere (Wa.) High, senior
Kimes got a jumpstart on her indoor season at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno on Jan. 13-14, hitting a US #15 height of 12-5. But don't be surprised if she hikes that up a few inches. The senior hit a PR of 13-0.75 last spring with Cashmere at the outdoor state championships, taking first, and will likely try to contend for a similar challenge this weekend at Dempsey Indoor.
