You think the Border Clash was windy you should have been at Sandy, Oregon the day before and seen how windy, wet & muddy this course was.  The course was more of an obstacle course of survival than anything else.  Although the kids had to work harder at running in ankle deep mud at times, they wore the mud proudly as a badge of honor after the race.
